Two major workplace technology outages disrupted the start of the week.
Microsoft 365 went down across Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint and several security and compliance services. Microsoft restored mailbox connectivity after approximately 12 hours, while search functionality continued recovering into September 1.
ChatGPT Work also experienced a disruption that left some users unable to start or continue tasks across multiple subscription plans. OpenAI fully restored affected services later that afternoon.
